The type of hotel that Ballantines Original is a 1900's themed hotel with rooms that have a celebrity feel to them, such as Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, and Audrey Hepburn. It is owned by a couple that changed the hotel to make an emphasis on the styles that were popular during the 1900's.
2.)In a few sentences describe the customer group that Ballantines Original Hotel targets
The customer group that Ballantines Original Hotel targets are people that are from the 1900's who enjoy and remember those times. These people are targeted because they would be the ones who would stay at the hotel the most for long periods of time.

Ethics and Issues(Page 77):
1.)Is it ethical for hotels to use water for fountains, pools and sprinkler systems for golf courses in conservation areas?
It is not ethical for hotels to use water features in a conservation area because then there will be no water for the people that live near there because the hotel will be using it all for their attractions in order to get customers to stay there for long periods of time. If the hotels keep using all of the water then there will be another drought that could effect a lot of people all over the world.

Hot Property(Page 78):
1.)If you designed a hotel, what would it look like?
If I designed a hotel it would have tons of glass features with sculptures and paintings everywhere in the hotel. The hotel would have a dim atmosphere since no one would want to walk into a hotel that is extremely bright, some of the colors that would be on the walls would be navy, light green, and gray. The outside of the hotel would be landscaped with bushes and flowers everywhere to give the hotel a cozy look on the outside, but on the inside it would have a formal look.

In a paragraph, describe uniforms you would design for service staff of a hotel such as Ballantines Original.
The uniforms that I would design for the service staff to wear would be clothing that famous people that had stayed in the hotel would have worn, such as trousers with the straps with a white and black polka-doted shirt for the men; and the women would wear big puffy dresses with white and black polka-dots all over them, and white and black high-heels.
